- The teachers together with the students will learn the meaning and the process of making public policy research.
- Learn through the various processes of research work such as conducting interviews, making visits to government departments, producing project works and presentations in front of a large audience which has never been done within the school curriculum.

- 專家顧問就參賽題目內容担供專業意見,使參加者獲益良多;
- 參賽隊伍在研究工作及報告技巧上有長足的進步;
- 加深了學生對公共政策的認識;
