  1. For students:
    1. The teachers together with the students will learn the meaning and the process of making public policy research.
    2. Learn through the various processes of research work such as conducting interviews, making visits to government departments, producing project works and presentations in front of a large audience which has never been done within the school curriculum.
Actual
  1. 學生方面:
    1. 專家顧問就參賽題目內容担供專業意見,使參加者獲益良多;
    2. 參賽隊伍在研究工作及報告技巧上有長足的進步;
    3. 加深了學生對公共政策的認識;
    4. 使學生更主動關心社會、細心觀察、投入社群;
    5. 強化了學生的團體合作精神,學習妥協,互相接納的態度。
