Designed
  1. For students:
    1. Educational activities such as making recycling papers, preparing simple projects, designing models related to nature science and environmental conservation.
    2. For teachers to prepare simple teaching kits, models, displaying boards or diagrams on biology, geology, ecology or general science subjects; and for students and amateur astronomers to make astronomical equipment, simple telescopes or other accessories.
    3. As venue for small group seminars and discussions.
    4. As resource Centre for interested people by providing information on astronomy, environment conservation, geology, ecology and general science.
Actual
  1. For students:
    1. Environmental and Astronomy Programs was held in the form of workshop. More than 165 programs/lessons were held in the workshop. Creative hands-on activities such as butterfly bookmark making and assignments were carried out in the workshop.
    2. Do-it-yourself Telescope Programs (co-op program between HKNEAC and Hong Kong Astronomy Society) was held to promote students’ interest in sky observing.
    3. Do-it-yourself Telescopic Lens Making Programs ((co-op program between HKNEAC and Sky Observers’ Association (Hong Kong)) was held. It enables students to learn the working principles of a telescope, the skill of lens polishing and coating.
    4. Butterfly Garden Site was built. A miniature butterfly habitat is part of the environmental programs and is a good environment to arouse students’ interest in natural science.
    5. Ecological Pool Site was built. Many aquatic living organisms are kept there to arouse students’ interest in nature. The pool plays an important role in enriching our ecology studies.
