  1. For Teacher
    1. Workshops that train teachers about how to set objectives and expectations on students’ work will be organized.
    2. Seminars for teachers of the same sectors are to be organized initially to facilitate the exchanged of ideas.
    3. Workshops include discussions about results of international studies on student achievement, different methods of studying student achievement, defining students’ work, setting teaching objectives for science and setting expectations of students’ performance, are to be organized.
    4. Sharing sessions with teachers to share their expectations and comments on students’ projects works with teachers from other schools. Thorough these discussions, teachers will have more understanding about the teaching and learning of science in other schools.
    5. A forum will be held for teachers to discuss about the set of standard for science learning establish in this project. The forum will serve to introduce to a larger population of teachers about the standards and collect feedback or suggestions from the audience.
Actual
  1. For Teacher
    1. Seven professional development workshops/sharing sessions, which targeted all of the participating teachers, had been organized. About 150 teachers had attended.
    2. Eight half-day workshops were organized for about 500 teachers from , with the themes of “Project Based Learning”, “Continuous Assessment”, “專題研習課業的設計與推行”, “寰宇學校計劃工作坊—評估跨學科學習”, “寰宇學校計劃工作坊—科學探究與專題研習”, “Assessment in Science”, “Active Project Learning—A Whole School Approach”.
    3. A two-day General Studies Promotion Seminar with the theme of “The reform of the Primary General Studies Curriculum—New Challenges to Teachers’ Professional Development” was held. In which, 2 half-day workshops were delivered by the SAW project team.
    4. A half-day dissemination session with the theme of “寰宇學校:校本科學科課程發展計劃” opened for all Hong Kong primary and secondary school teachers was held.
    5. Opportunities are provided for local member teachers to expose to the international level of the SAW community, a discussion forum was developed for all SAE teachers to exchange their teaching ideas.
    6. Two online courses were organized to get the member teachers familiarized to the SAW process.
    7. Two international online collaboration discussion seminars were held for teachers to exchanges their ideas on group work.
    8. Six SAW International Steering Committee meetings were attended by the Hong Kong project team.
