Research and Development Work on Quality Education Fund “Project Learning” Projects
Objectives
The Objectives of the “Work” are to:
- Distill and consolidate good practices in “Project Learning” projects and promote exemplars of excellent practices, and;
- Develop educational resources in the form of printed and/or electronic materials for the education sector.
Details
Phase One
- Study past projects funded by QEF on “Project Learning”, and;
- Analysis, organize and summarize the development of these projects with reference to the RE-AIM model.
Phase Two
- Select exemplar projects for further research work;
- Survey and interview project leaders to further understanding of their planning, implementation, achievement and conclusion of experience, and;
- Update and supplement project details with continuous development of the project.
Phase Three
- Construct keyword index for the project learning projects;
- Analyze the results of the survey and interviews for the final report;
- Consolidate and promote achievements and experience of exemplar projects in a dissemination conference, and;
- Establish an online resources package to provide learning and teaching resources for project learning.
Expected Achievements
The research and development work on project learning projects is expected to:
- Develop a directory of key concepts / keywords;
- Construct an online resources package for the use of education sector
- Hold a territory-wide sharing session for the research and development achievements, disseminating the experience of project learning projects, promulgate exemplary projects and popularize their achievements.
